Maxie Delight Buttermilk Pitcher - Clinchfield Artware: Buttermilk Pitcher   Maxie Delight Buttermilk Pitcher - #5532 - This hard-to-find fruit design is painted on a 7-inch buttermilk-shape pitcher. The fabulous detail in the painting of the design must surely have been rendered by one of the more accomplished painters. Excellent bright gloss to the glaze. Free of chips, cracks, and crazing. As close to like-new as any piece of Cash Family Pottery we have ever owned. Whistle-clean inside and out. Two extremely small glaze irregularities are found at the back bottom edge of the pitcher. To find, you must pick up the pitcher and look for them! Another minor glaze irregularity is found along the top rim edge where the glaze did not adhere properly. Again, you must inspect carefully to find. Based upon our knowledge of the characteristics of Cash Family Pottery, It is our sincere belief that all three aforementioned areas were done in the making of the pitcher.
