Skyline Pitcher ~ Falling Leaves   |
Clinchfield Artware Falling Leaves SKYLINE Pitcher - #7273 - Hard-to-find Cash Family shape with superbly detailed painting! The same shape found among Blue Ridge pitchers is called PALISADES, however, Burnette calls the shape SKYLINE in his Cash Family references. Painted in a green and burgundy variation of the Falling Leaves pattern (that we have not seen before), it is free of chips, cracks, and crazing. For description accuracy, we mention a thin glaze skip (1/4-in long) on the sharp edge of the pitcher rim and three tiny glaze skips on the back where glaze did not adhere during manufacture. No discoloration inside or out. Click on hidden above to view the back. Click on hidden below to view the backstamp. Standing 8 3/8-inches from tabletop to highest point on pitcher lip, this is another exciting Cash Family Pottery pitcher we believe to have been painted by Mildred Edwards, well-known for her superbly detailed design painting on Cash Family pottery. Excellent and highly desirable! SOLD Not Available
