County Fair Green   A series of eight different fruit designs painted on 8.25-inch salad plates, cups, saucers, small square plates, large salad bowl, and salad bowl underplate (also called a chop plate or cake plate). Most commonly painted on the Colonial shape, salad plates and salad bowl with the green edge are ALSO found painted on the Candlewick shape. See bottom of this page for the Avon connection. The small square plates painted with the same fruit patterns measure approximately 6.5-inches in diameter. A cup and saucer set was painted to match each of the eight fruit patterns. We recently found a 7.5-inch square plate in the CHERRIES pattern, however, we have not been able to determine whether the other 7 designs were also painted on the 7.5-inch square plate.
