ERWIN Pottery employed some molds from Southern Potteries.
Erwin Pottery is a mark used by Negatha Peterson, a former Southern Potteries artist.
Erwin Pottery connects to Erwin, TN and Southern Potteries. Note the similarity of Erwin, Cash, Southern and related potteries. The molds and the personnel often were common to the various potteries.

We have had the opportunity to buy and sell many of Negatha Peterson's pieces in the past 15 years and have not seen a single piece that did not bear her signature, her initials, and/or the Erwin Pottery mark or one of the marks pictured below. Mrs. Peterson told us that, for a brief period in the mid-1980's, she used an original Blue Ridge backstamp with the word 'REPRO' hand-written below it.

Cash Family Pottery used many back stamps. The 1945 stamp was used for many years.
