Made from gray clay local to Pigeon Forge Pottery, the interior is glazed with a beautiful robin egg blue. The impressed bear outline was filled with dark brown glaze. Free of chips, cracks, and crazing. No signs of use. Measures 3-in tall with an opening just under 3-in from outer rim edge to outer rim edge. Click on our image below to view the stamped mark. In keeping with the Pottery animal themes, a variety of designs on mugs this size were produced ~ figures include: owl, deer, fox, bear, fish, chicken, rooster, and lamb ~ possibly other designs that we have not seem. Mugs this shape and size are also found with no design. Some of the mugs have no color to the interior glaze, others are found to be yellow (as well as the blue shown here). Excellent!
