Pattern #3597
A bouquet of garden flowers including pink roses, blue tulips, and yellow iris is found painted on the Colonial-shaped dinnerware. Waltz Time is one of the loveliest among Blue Ridge patterns. The dot-and-dash edge was painted in THREE shades of blue. The border color in each item below is aqua blue unless we specify true blue or the rare-to-find cobalt blue in the item description. Waltztime is eye candy regardless of the color of the blue edge!

FOR VIEWER REFERENCE ONLY
WALTZ TIME is one of several Blue Ridge floral patterns with the blue dot-and-dash border. Negatha Peterson, former artist for SPI and founder of Erwin Pottery, told us that the flowers in all of the blue dot-and-dash border designs were painted using a large English floral platter (with the same dot and dash style border) as a design guide. Since England entered WWII before the USA entered the war, the dash and 3 dots repeated around the English platter edge could have intentionally been Morse Code for the V in VICTORY.
Other Blue Ridge dot and dash patterns include:

LeShay,
Grandmothers Garden,
Nove Rose,
Rose Marie,
