The pitcher is free of chips, cracks and crazing. Condition is clean and bright. Seen in our images, we note tiny glaze imperfections on the pitcher back and an area glaze roughness on top rim edge. We believe both are the result of the finishing process. The painting of the double red rose design is outstanding. Cash Family Pottery is well known for its popular buttermilk pitcher shapes. At first glance, this Clinchfield Artware Red Double Rose pitcher might be mistaken for a buttermilk shape pitcher. It is, however, the Cash Family HAVILAND shape. Originally made for beverages, picture it filled with a bouquet of red roses! (NW-1)
